Tasmania Zoo

What a great day we had here. We loved the different animals and the petting zoo was great! We only gave 4 stars as we had difficulty navigating. Once all of the dinosaurs and the information on them are updated as well, it will definitely be 5 stars :)

Showers while we were there. No option at all to purchase a rain poncho,umbrella or even a jacket. Paid for my daughter to have a red panda experience. She had to Share her experience with a kid & her Mother( kid hogged experience) my daughter got 30 seconds solo,to have her photo. I feel Red Panda was obviously over booked for encounter. Would have appreciated being told no sold out and option to choose another encounter instead of the Red Panda encounter being a total waste of time.

Visited with our two kids and loved it. Was really pleased with how many animals we were able to see and how open the enclosures were. Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time feeding the Roos and Wallabies. We stayed alot longer than anticipated and would recommend a visit by anyone who visits the area and would like to see native animals.

A great local zoo with friendly staff. My children loved it and it was great to get out in the fresh air. We spent a good couple of hours there. We will definitely look at doing some of the animal experiences next time. Will definitely go again

Great place for everyone regardless of the age. It's much bigger with heaps more animals than when I was visited good couple of years earlier. We had a really good time 🙂
