Grande Vue Hotel

I was just looking over my wedding photos and remembered the picture perfect place we stayed during our wedding (elopement) preparations and honeymoon. The owners were so lovely and accommodating, the views were fantastic, the room very romantic - with gorgeous furniture, beautiful linens and such a homey, warm, cosy feel to it all. I just wanted to say thanks again to the owners for making our time there perfect, private and peaceful and a wonderful start to our married life. Take care. Sarah & Robert

The view, the beautiful room and furnishings. The morning breakfast that was satisfying to start to the day. The helpfulness of Trish the host. The closeness to restaurants, and authentic Shippys pub and Salamanca markets.

Very sad this hotel does not allow babies to stay. Why?? My four month year old sleeps 8 hours straight and brings his own portacot.

Beautiful view, gorgeous room, peaceful and fabulous location

Great experience at this hotel. Beautiful rooms and lovely service, especially the hostess. Turret room with the spa bath was luxurious and relaxing, with an amazing view of the harbour. Close to pubs and cafes in fabulous Battery Point. Walking distance to Salamanca and all sorts of Hobart attractions and restairants. Highly recommended.
