Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

My family and I came here specifically for the Koalas and we were not disappointed. A beautiful and scenic place with lots to do. It was great to hold a Koala and get a picture. I really enjoyed the Platypus habitat as well. Staff were friendly and very helpful, overall a great experience.

Had some many animals to look at and so many shows to watch. Had a good time. It is great not only for kids but also for adults as well. But it is not a whole day thing. You could probably go there at like 10.30 and finish by 1.

Lovely place to walk around for a couple of hours. It's smaller than I was expecting but a nice range of Australian animals. Take your own food, as the main cafe was closed during our visit (as advised on their website). Definitely a place I'll come back to as my daughter grows.

Lone Pine was fantastic, we didn't realize how close up you get to get with the animals. We loved the kangaroos, koalas and wallabies the most however the entire facility was great. The animals all seemed well cared for and happy as they aren't really in cages rather free to roam. I wish I could have a pet koala after this tour, they have got to be the sweetest animal! Thank you for this great experience in Brisbane.
