Ally Fashion

It was so disappointing! I normally shop at ally fashion but never again will I go to the glen store. I spent more than $150 on clothing and they gave me a ripped bag and while I left the store all the clothes fell and lucky me ! I realised it after a few minutes. I walked back to the store and told the tall girl who was working there today that she gave me a torn bag and my clothes have fallen and they didn’t even bother helping me they immediately said “it’s not our fault”. I was so shocked and I told her “but these are your bags and you gave me a faulty bag and all my clothes are gone “ she made me look as if I was cheating them when I wasn’t. I had proof the bag was torn it was right in front of her. luckily I found a few In front of the store door pushed to a corner .I gave them and I asked them to refund the other items and everything but they said “ it’s not our fault and I can’t refund them because I’m sure I didn’t give a torn bag and it didn’t happen in the store” . I once again went and I saw the other things folded and kept on the side with some other clothes . And she didn’t even bother trying to fix the problem she said “next time keep in mind that you should not be talking this way specially during busy times “ . That’s not the way to talk to a customer . She shouldn’t tell me what to keep in mind and not. It was just disgusting . They kept saying it’s not their fault . So disgusting .

This story is very disorganised, understaffed and unfriendly. The staff are not up to date with store policy regarding returns. I had to drive from the glen store to chadstone just to return a dress because The Glen staff would not do it for me, even though I was allowed to return it. The new policy is that if you return a full priced item (including on promotion) within 45 days of the store opening post covid, you can get a refund. The glen staff told me different information and told me my dress was a clearance item, hence could not even give me a store credit or exchange. Whereas in reality, my dress was a few dollars off due to promotion, and I was actually allowed a refund. Please train your staff properly. Chadstone staff, on the other hand, were very kind and processed the refund for me without issue. This was a whole lot of trouble and time just to return a dress that didn't fit, had tags on, and I had my receipt. It was a horrible experience and I won't be returning to the glen store again.

Unfriendly staff !!!!

Was only one employee for the whole shop. Wasn't helpful much as well. Customer service wasn't that great either. I'd go to chadstone rather coming to Glen next time.
