Walked in the store with my sister and mum to buy a new bangle ,. I had a gift voucher that was given to me from sister for my birthday and was so excited to use it . The lady was so rude and I asked her if she had any in a certain size and she couldn't be bothered looking , so her answer was no .. I then proceeded to ask her to look at anklets instead , she didn't even know where they were . She had no people skills and clearly had no idea what she was doing and it was clear she wasn't interestedin helping me . I was disgusted in the way she treated me. I left the store and came back later to tell her I was disgusted in the way she treated me and she apologised with a smirk on her face . Older lady with dark brown hair and glasses. Dont bother guys , she's nasty ......

My partner brought me a ring but it was a few sizes too big. The lady insisted she can get it done that week resized so I can have it before the special occasion he brought it for. The manager was right next to her too. They said if he got a care plan for an extra cost it would make it quick and we would get rushed through first. Now we keep calling and they say they will call back as they are not sure or they tell us it will be 6-8 weeks till we get it (compared to 5 days like the last lady said. Covid was already around when this happened so that cannot be used as an excuse which they have used. They also used the excuse saying the staff member was a casual and told us the wrong thing but the manger was next to her at the time too? They have shocking service, will not give us a refund so we can go somewhere else, will not send it back so we can get it resized it somewhere else and will not own up to there mistake. Do no go there!!

horrible jewellers, went in to have a custom made ring found one similar to what I wanted except a few small alterations would be made to mine including making it rose gold, however after six weeks wait and 1500 dollars later the ring came back but wasn't what I wanted literally the same as the other one just rose gold none of the other personal tweaks had been done that was discussed, I went away with it for a week to wear it to see if I would change my mind but still didnt like it, went back in to explain what had happen and to see if anything else could be done but they wouldn't help unless I paid for the changes and no returns on custom rings witch is understandable but not when it's something different to what you ask for now I have to go elsewhere to have it fixed because the staff only care about commissions rather than working with the customer, do your self a favour and don't get custom rings made from these guys very poor professionalism.

I bought a new necklace a few days ago as the one I had previously (for 7 years) finally broke. I never buy jewellery from jewellers as I am a uni student who can't afford it, but for my pendant I wear every day, I thought it was worth spending more so it will last.nHowever, I bought the chain and was not given a box for it or told about their refund policy. I wore it out of the store. When I got home and tried my pendant on it, I wasn't happy. It was too long and too thin. I went back to Prouds a few days later and was not treated nicely. I simply asked about exchanging it, and then showed the lady I was wearing it (this was the second time I wore it), and without sympathy she told me she couldn't because it had been worn. But I didn't have a choice as I didn't have a box in the first place. The lady who sold me the necklace originally also knew that I was going home to see what it looked like with my pendant. She knew there was a chance I would want to exchange it, and didn't explain their policy at all to me. She also knew I hadn't bought jewellery from a jewellers before so it would've been obvious to her I wouldn't know.nnI am extremely disappointed with this, and now I am out of pocket about $40, with a necklace I probably won't wear and will have to try to sell somehow.nnDon't waste your time here, there are plenty of other jewellers out there.
