Safa City Cafe

Went to Safa City with my family, ordered the lamb and chicken dish with rice. The rice and chicken were cooked nicely - however the red meat was horrific. It was rubbery, severely undercooked and smelled off. Everyone at the table sent the meat back to get cooked as it was pink on the inside. When it was returned to us, it was STILL pink and smelly. The chef reassured us that this is how it is made and the smell is normal. We decided it would be best to take it take away and cook it properly at home.nnI cooked the meat until it was completely cooked through and ate it. All day today I have been tossing and turning with severe severe stomach pain. This has been the only change to my diet and the meat was clearly OFF.nnAlongside this the waitress was barely ever around although there was only one other table sitting and in my opinion the dishes were very over-priced. Almost $30 for 2 skewers and a cup and half of white rice...nnA very painful learning experience. Always trust your intuition. If it doesn't look, taste, smell right don't eat it!!

The quality of food is very good. They have polite staff.

Awful. When the red meat is under cooked you know something is up. Even the mince was not cooked and it was pink! That’s a health hazard. Wish I could give 0 stars as 1 star is too much for this place!
