Went searching for glow worms here with our son and was happy to find a small scattering of them just past the bridge at the halfway point. Easy enough to navigate the well defined track at night with the aid of a couple of torches.nIt's also a great walk during the day with elevated walking platforms dotted along the track making for interesting views of the surrounding dense forest.

Recent renovations have lifted the walking experience. Safer and easy walking walkways with informative signposts to guide you along the way and give tips on what to look at and to be present taking it in. There are ginormous trees!nnWorth a visit. The loop was not long nor difficult.

I’ve been here 3 or 4 seperate times to find the glowworms that hide here. I’ve got a 50% success rate. I’m nearly certain the glow is dependant on how wet the ground in and I saw the most in winter. I’m sure it’s lovely in the daytime too but I’ve never been! Don’t forget to look up to see the stars too ud83cudf1f

A beautiful walk very recently upgraded and the boardwalk are all new and very aesthetic. Its super short(800m) and only takes about 10 minutes if you don't stop heaps. See glow worms here at night!

An cool, atmospheric and very leafy, green walk through a richly hued remnant of rainforest, one of several extant in the Great Otway National Park. I feel the engineered boardwalk is very much an intrusion into the environment, but necessary for preserving the scenic and natural values as well as ensuring visitors dont' get themselves lost (which has happened in the past!). Highly recommended for a walk when it is raining as this adds a new dimension. The 'Heritage Tree' is very old indeed, and a much-loved focal point on this evergreen trail of discovery.
