After walking past here tonight and seeing the Monday night $5 fish and chip special we thought we would give it a bash. Walking in the place had a really good vibe to it and was quite busy, which is a good sign. Ordering we got the $5 fish and chips which was a spot on feed for an individual. The staff were excellent, despite being busy they remembered our order and delivered them to us whilst we waited inside. We will be back to sample some more of the menu

My son-in-law had a burger which he said was lovely but the rest of us had fish and chips. The batter was very thick and dripping with fat. Not very nice at all. Staff were friendly and nice though.

We went to Pa’s Fish for some chips to go with our homemade burgers and when my husband returned home with the packet and unwrapped it we were gobsmacked. After ringing the shop we were told The amount we received was apparently “normal” for $5 - 2 handfuls to suit 2 people, we were lucky to get that. Being apart of the Encounter Bay community for 28 years, we try and support everyone down here, but this will be the last time we go to Pa’s… We should have gone to the Yilki.

Great food and especially the fish and chips. The food is quick, very hot and not greasy.Plenty of room inside but it is a popular place so it fills quickly.Staff are friendly and don't mind a chit chat when they are not busy. The have outdoor seating where you can gaze at the rolling waves on the foreshore. The place is clean and has been decorated with the 60's rock and roll period. The back part of the fish cafe has big lounges and a licenced bar,so you can have a drink whilst listening to Buddy Holly and do some nostalgic reminiscing. You must put this place on your must go list, you won't forget it.

We had a lovely catch up with life long friends. We were told that there would be a wait. The food was definaitly worth the wait. Value for money and we are going back next weekend.
