Karl Chehade Dry Cleaning Unley Park

A suit was delivered to KC Unley requiring same day service. The suit was required for my brother to wear to the funeral of his wife. A ticket was provided showing that the suit would be ready at 4pm that same day. The suit was not ready at 4pm. I was told that the suit may be available at 6pm but it could not be guaranteed. The person I spoke with could not provide any explanation as to the reason for the delay.nnI have never dealt with a service provider who cared less about this sad situation. Instead I was informed that same day service was never guaranteed and that no dry cleaner in Adelaide would guarantee same day service and perhaps I could take the suit elsewhere.nnI am utterly lost for words at the absence of any compassion or care or apology. It was cruel.

Unfortunately it seems a sign-of-the-times that unless an unpleasant review is posted for all to see that some businesses do not take care of customer service. This is it for me, it is so difficult to find a decent dry cleaner & I think this is why we are strung along so much. I have had a few unsatisfactory outcomes from here; a) lost a pair of shorts which they say they do not have, ok...(they have also tried to give me someone else's clothing because of the same surname on more than 1 occasion.....) b) My husband's shirt & jacket came back to me exactly how I dropped it off except for the plastic bag & bill c) 2 very white pair of shorts returned with a colour-tinge.... I rang the store, left a message with no return call, I emailed the store with the issue - a follow up email a few days later to ask if the store called back to which I let them know that they hadn't & that was that. See you never.

I just picked my jacket up today. I am so disappointed with this place. My jacket remained the stains and the material also damages after dry clean. The staff over there asked me to sign on the agreement for risk of damage and take my own responsible if I want them to rewash my jacket again. WHAT???. They should not charge money and say sorry to me rather than ask me to take my own risk if I want to remove the stains.

Staff member was very helpful. Clothes were returned clean and without any chemical smell. I'll be back.

Fantastic service. We recently had our daughters school uniforms repaired and a few pairs on men's pants legs taken up. The service was great and the time frame was very fast, thank you!!!
