Greg and Dan are the kings of smoked meats.nThe lunchtime meal I had was a selection of meats and it was all super delicious.nFlavours are out of this world. Super tender meats.nJust 25 mins from the city. It’s so worth the journey. Local produce that tastes AMAZING.nKeep up the good work guys.

Great spot and awesome feed! Certainly gives off a country American vibe. Recommend the competition platter share for two, plenty of food and great variety.

In short: exceptional meat the first time, decent the second and poor the third (and final) time, but with charming Texan decor and a rocking logo!nnFirst time I went here, I had a thirtysomething dollar meat platter, which was amazing, and some of the best meat I had ever had: especially the pork. As well as that, the ribs were absolutely divine!nnI raved about it to a mate, who I brought to the Smokehouse to show him how good it was. This time, we had a larger seventy-something dollar meat platter: it wasn’t nearly as good that time, not rave-worthy, but still good quality meat and nice ribs.nnThe third time I went here, I was solo. We grabbed a large $78 platter and was very excited. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very good. Not terrible but not what I would expect for that price.nnI don’t see myself coming back here. Two stars because the food was great the first time, and one extra star because I love the Texas-style decor and the workers, especially a young lad by the name of Dan.
