Nurture One Prospect Road

It is really disappointing that Nurture One declined since June 2020 after a change in management. When it comes to the care of our children I think it is important for other parents to be aware of significant experiences. During the time my daughter was at Nuture One she suffered two nasty injuries leaving her with permanent scars on her stomach. One of the incidents was allegedly not observed so I question the level of supervision, not only because of this incident, but many. The other incident, she allegedly fell in a bush but I also find this questionable. My daughter was scratched multiple times by the same child. After discussions occurred with staff and management, the course of action was never followed through. Children with behavioural issues are not managed appropriately. Even up to the day my daughter finished at Nuture One, she was regularly hit by another child which I witnessed. The sun protection policy was not being adhered to until I discussed this with management along with a number of other concerns. My daughter's toilet training was not assisted appropriately. When picking up my daughter I saw 13 children outside with only 1 staff member. It is concerning that policies were not being adhered to let alone the lack of supervision. I know many parents felt the same way, many families have left the centre. Excessive numbers of staff also left, some staff resignations were disclosed to parents; some were not. I do not feel that some of the educators receive the support they need, therefore not advancing their professional skills adequately. I felt so strongly about the ongoing issues at the centre that I contacted head office and had the cancellation notice period waived after disclosing concerns.

Nurture One prospect road is an amazing childcare centre with a professional caring team of staff that give the very best to your children.nnThe centre is always sparkling clean and I constantly see them cleaning when I pick up my daughter at night.nnThe range of furniture and play activities are at a perfect balance - they have everything your child needs. There are plenty of fine motor, gross motor and problem solving activities in each classroom.nnThe best thing is that they do two journal updates per day and have a constant flow of photos, eat/sleep journal (updated as it happens during the day) through a phone app - it really settles my separation anxiety and comforts me as I know that my daughter is happy and learning new things when I’m at work.nnI am a very particular person and I have to say there is nothing I can fault here.

Our family love NurtureOne Prospect Road.nThe centre is very well setup, with great resources for the children.nMost importantly the centre manager and all the staff are kind, caring and outstanding at their roles within the centre.nI definitely feel comfortable leaving my son there.nVery lucky to have found such a wonderful childcare centre.

Our little girl has been attending Nurture One Prospect Road for 18 months and it’s the best decision we have ever made, the Centre and staff are absolutely wonderful and she thoroughly enjoys her days there.

If you are looking for a good education, hygienic place with friendly staff and excellent facilities for your kids, I would highly recommend Nurture One Prospect Road for you, my little girl had learned a lot and she enjoyed being there.
