Underwood Electrical were on time, polite and efficient. We also accidently went out during our first scheduled appointment and no fuss or complaint was made from their end. Sorry again. Highly recommend!

Whilst accepting that sometimes a new product may be released without the supporting service documentation which I was informed by Underwood Electrical was the case in this instance, the service I received whilst attempting to get a new fridge/freezer (purchased on the 7 August from Aldi) repaired was, in my opinion, totally unacceptable.nnMy impression after the first visit to assess the problem, was one of a courteous and efficient technician, however this was not the case in future dealings. The matter was made worse by having to liaise with a third party Service provider, Tempo and the technician, with different information and updates provided by each party.nnWhen a new part finally arrived and the technician returned to fit it (on the 25 Sept), his frustration at not being able to complete the task was evidenced by a great deal of banging and an occasional expletive. It was a most unpleasant experience. The problem was not resolved and added to it was the fact that the interior access panel of the freezer was now loose. On contacting Tempo and requesting an alternative technician, referring to the fact that the current one had informed me he did not normally repair refrigeration equipment, I was told this was not possible as the contract for the repair lay with Underwood Electrical.nnOn the 27 Sept the technician sent a text that the original fault and the loose panel would be fixed when the support documentation was received. No further visit or message was received from the technician.nnOn the 4 October I was informed by Tempo that the technician's latest report stated 'the fridge was irreparable' and the job was closed as far as the technician was concerned.nnI was extremely disappointed that the technician did not contact me to let me know that he had reached the decision that the fridge was irreparable especially as his last message to me was to the contrary.nnIt should be noted that my review is based entirely on my experience of this company with a fridge/freezer requiring repair and that the company's website refers to washer, dryer and dishwasher repairs only.

Very impressed! Needed our dryer repaired as a warranty job so had no say in the choice of repairer. Luckily, we couldn't be happier; regular communication and updates led to a prompt and professional visit. Within an hour the machine was up-and-running once more. Highly recommended.
