Solitaire in Woden are excellent. Unlike other stores, which try to just sell you the most expensive item they can (irrespective of your needs) Solitaire are concerned with your actual NEEDS first.nnA few times now I have walked in with a set of requirements and they have shown me better solutions for what I was trying to achieve at a better price than other stores. Again, because they were trying to fulfill my actual objective as best they could, rather than just trying to close as large a sale as possible. 4 times now I have been shopping around and settled with Solitaire Woden because of their service and the sense of trust.nnThere is also none of the foolishness of something being priced, then if you don't buy quickly, being told by staff they will check the 'best deal they can do', only to come back with a price 60% lower... Things should be priced as is appropriate for their actual material value, especially when looking at solid gold items with simple craftsmanship. Solitaire know this and treat their customers with respect by assuming you know this too.nnCould not recommended them any more highly. I have bought an engagement ring, wedding bands, christening jewelry and simple gifts from them. I have yet to disappointed.

It has taken me awhile to put a review, although my ring was in the process of being designed Daniel and Linda were very polite and always nice. The problem started when the store had shut, I explained that I would like the under carriage on the halo setting to be similar to Vera wang, the first draft looked nothing like an engagement ring it looked like a minion. I was asked for references and had given plenty of pictures and after waiting for a re design, it looked so insulting that nothing I had mentioned was taken in. Any jeweller designer would know Vera wangs style, and if I didn’t it’s easy to google.nnAfter many emails of not being heard I gave in and told them to directly copy a design that I had found on the internet. I was soo disappointed that this had happened and I wanted to run although I had paid the deposit that I knew would be a hassle to get back. When The engagement ring had been finished, I had gotten an email and noticed straight away they had missed some of the detail on the ring. It only took 1 day to fix, at this stage I was mad that this was missing.nnAfter receiving my replacement Certificate Weeks later after purchase Linda has given me a complimentary pearl necklace for the stress. If I could do this all again I would run from this store if your looking for someone to design your ring engagement. 5k might not be a lot for a engagement ring to some, but I felt like I was not taken seriously. I certainly won’t get my wedding band here

Just ducked in to get a new chain this afternoon, and the lady working there was very helpful and friendly. Walked out with a new chain and a smile on my face.
