Hong Kong Tea Cafe 榮記冰室

Some of the menu is a miss, but the baked rice comfortably serves two and the tea is good. I was debating 4* since the menu can be hit or miss, but I keep coming back and sincerely like the place.

A disappointing experience, rude service, and mistakes upon payment.nnNormally don't give out low ratings, but really not satisfied with their food and upsetting with this cafe's service.nnWaitress are rude, and made the ordering process very lengthy and complicated. And ended up charging up wrong for more than one dish ordered.nnThe cafe is definitely not designed for family with young kids. Space is limited, and the sitting are very squashed.nnFood is average, too much sauce, and very oily. Serving size is reasonable for its price, but taste is nothing to going back for. There are better choices nearby

Food are not freshly made on order. With the price paid, you can get better food and services somewhere. I will neither go back again nor recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Newly refurbished, but the food is just so so if you tried authentic HK food. Maybe good for someone new to this to try. But there are some better authentic ones in Perth. But porridge are good though

worst food experience in perth. Even worst work staff. extremely rude. Firstly they didn't bother toasting the bread. The toast was $8.80. Not only that the portion was absurdly small. As a place that serve sandwiches as half of their menu, you would expect that they specialise in this but how surprising it is to find out their sandwiches aren't even good. I would never recommend anyone to this place. This tea cafe is an absolute joke.
