Ordered a take away for me and a mate after a long day. Chilli basil stir fry is usually my go to at any thai joint. What happened about 5 bites in was unprecedented.nEither the chef is a psychopath or he mistakenly used Birdseye instead of long red chillies as this was Dante’s inferno.nI was in physical pain, but so hungry I had to keep eating until about halfway where I physically could not go on and was just sitting there in burning agony. My mate thought it was hilarious and takes himself for a bit of a chilli head so we swapped. 5 mins later and it was no longer hilarious.nHis meal was delicious it was some kind of barramundi stir fry thing.nI will probably give them another go but will most likely stick to pad thai as this experience will stick with me for a while and has caused much psychological trauma.

Nice food but ask for your heat!nMy special entree is fish cakes. I Always have them.nVery relaxing environment. Not classy so dont take people if you are after an impressive environment.nFood is good and healthy and staff friendly and helpful!

This is simply the best thai restaurant in Sydney.nThe food is perfect, the staff so friendly, price is lower than the average thai and the place is so comfy.nThere is an outdoor area at the back that i totally recommend.nJust a very good advice, please book a table. Everyone loves to enjoy the great food in that outdoor area.nThey also cook it to be picked up or delivered, but honestly, enjoy it there, it is super worthy.nMy last Sydney visit i went all the way from the city to Newport just to remember how good this place is, and i loved it

Hard to believe that Thai cuisine could be so good for so little! Situated in the heart of beautiful Newport Beach, Newport Thai offers an extraordinary range of entres & mains at truly affordable prices. BYO wine( only ) is a real bonus. My favourite? Slow cooked pork shoulder. My god! It’s just wonderful. Service? Personal, engaged & truly friendly. Go there during the week & the place is yours. Just love it!
