Hotspot Cafe

Great coffee! The young girl that was working when I was there was so friendly. She can make a mean cup of coffee that'll have you coming back again and again! I highly recommend this cafe!! ☕ud83dudc4d

What a delight this cafe is! A friend and I popped in on a Saturday lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised to find a light, airy cafe with friendly staff and delicious food prepared fresh to order. The milkshakes and cakes are to die for! There was a large choice of seating areas and tables and we were very comfortable and well looked after as we chatted away the afternoon. Another bonus is its idyllic location just opposite Narrabeen Lagoon.

The cafe ambience is pleasant. They could do with some more staff as it took a very long time to order, and get our 2 drinks and 2 toasties. What I considered fairly basic. Overall decent just not great. Have room for improvement.

Encountered a few issues that are no brainers for me; bathroom was broken. Advised to use external facilities. External facilities lacking toilet paper. Had to request toilet paper. Went to wash my hands. Had to go & request soap. Had to hand back soap dispenser. Felt the need to return unused toilet paper lest it be stolen by unscrupulous patrons. Staff were blank faced. No empathy for lack of basic services provided. Friend ordered toast - the bread was mouldy. Saving grace - coffee was average at best. Want to give benefit of doubt, but given the number of competitors surrounding this venue, would go elsewhere...
