Sanctuary Cafe

What a lovely place for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee. We loved sitting amongst the nursery plants while having a really fresh and creative breakfast. The smashed Avo with runny poached eggs was heaven, and wifey loved her vegetable wrap. Staff were friendly and warm and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and chilled. We really enjoyed our visit and it’s going to be a regular week end brunch place now.

The place looks great and good food too, have your brunch before shopping for your garden needs. Except they have to improve on their serving time, especially around 11am-1pm expect more customers will order. A couple of elderly asked the waitress how much longer do they have to wait they just order soup.

The food was nice once we finally got it, but unfortunately there was no warning that there would be an hour wait for food, and hardly even an apology when I suggested that would have been appreciated. We won't be returning.....If we knew there was such a long wait for lunch we would have done our nursery shopping and kept the kids happy instead of just sitting around hungry.

Good food, nice coffee, friendly service and a pleasant setting. A tad pricey but we enjoy the cafe so keep returning. Breakfast, lunch, light meals, and various beverages. The pink bougainvillea is very pretty and fitting for a garden centre cafe. Quite popular with the locals.
