Experienced a plumbing leak....so I called 3 plummers who were really busy...so I called Braidwood Rural and they said they had the products to fix the situation. Within 2 minutes of entering the shop I was heading back to fix the problem. Quick, easy, perfect...Thanks guys for your great knowledge and for keeping the right parts...you don't get this good a service in the city!

Went downhill after mitre10 took over. They have removed experienced people and replaced them with younger cheaper staff.nI have noticed they have more range instore but alot of the really useful stuff that sat there for ever till you needed it is gone.nThey only want to stock what will move really quickly.nnMostly it's worth getting hardware when you go to Canberra or the coast.nThere is a hardware in Moruya and Batemans bay that are family owned and deliver to Braidwood and they come up often and are rather cheap.nnFeels like walking into a store in the city.nIt is a conglomerate.nnI take almost all my business elsewhere unless I have no choice. As have many others!nnFor rural supplies there is one other rural store in town that have been there forever and run by real locals you will know if you have been around for long enough.nnI hope this helps

Really friendly and helpful staff. Always surprised how competitive the prices are. Particularly compared to major hardware chains.
