Had no trouble getting luggage on arrival, car hire place was easy to find as was the car. Coming home could have been better, after dropping the car we had to go back outside to walk to to departures. They need to have access between arrivals and departure in the terminal.

Open plan airport, lots of room to relax while you wait for your flight and lots of shops to buy your duty free products. Nothing to exciting about airports in my opinion, but I did notice its not very up to date but looks and feels clean. I did also notice the duty free prices are not cheep, almost felt like normal retail prices.

Still undergoing renovations, airport is coming along though. New layout is a fresh change. New food options and stores. The domestic terminal will be a nice modern building once all the changes are completed.

Look it's cairns. They do their best and I can't complain. I was able to charge my phone. What a dope airport.
