I recently recruited GTS Banyo to do my tax return. As a Banyo resident, I felt it important to support local businesses. My tax return was completed very quickly and the tax agent who completed it, was very thorough, ensuring she got me the best result. I have recommended to my friends and family as I was very impressed with their service.

Being a health professional, I find the whole concept of 'tax' daunting and confusing. Each year, Michael and his team continue to do a fantastic job of helping to make my BAS and annual tax return easy to understand, easy to complete and painless. They are quick to reply, professional, easy to chat to and nothing is too hard for them! A+++

Absolutely incredible service. We stumbled across General Taxation Services a few years ago when our previous accountant retired and I deeply regret not finding them/Michael sooner. Michael's knowledge and service is outstanding. Always prompt at replying and always happy to help. Won't go anywhere else!

EDIT: Graham contacted me after I sent an email noting my unhappiness about the additional charge and fault shifting. He offered to waive the additional charge. I declined the offer and lodged the amendment myself and have modified this review from 1 to 3 stars to account for his response.nnAccountant for a tax return missed the purchase price for a set of shares, despite mentioning it multiple times. When I informed her of her mistake, she chose to list in the amendment that it was my fault for omitting information and requested I pay an extra $80 to fix her mistake. This is after charging me an additional $30 originally on top of the $110 quoted without informing me upfront. So in total she wanted $220 to lodge complete tax return, which is exactly double what I expected to pay.nnNoted that she did save me more than I most likely would have done by myself, however the blame shifting and additional charges are not acceptable.nnIf you do make the same mistake as I did by using them for your tax return, make sure you review all the figures before paying them.
