We received hail damage and the quote come to mere than the red book price. When the quote was being done the person inspecting picked dents that were not hail related (visible crease from a parking incident. A quote for 6k for this vehicle is extremely excessive as the bonnet and boot could be replaced for 1 to 1.5k that would mean the roof would be the rest a whopping 4.5 to 5k to repair.nThis is a clear attempt to defraud both the customer and the insurance company.nI work within the automotive industry and have for some 30 years. I had heard stories of a business at Gracemere doing this sort of thing. Now I know first hand and will never recommend them to any of my customers.nThis is the exact reason this country is screwed, opportunistic over quoting pushing up insurance premiums and as a result people have their car written off for a fraction of what the real cost of replacement of the vehicle is.
