Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre

Cool information centre with large art/historical exhibits in the adjoining room.

Came here because of my job, walked away with a lot more local info than expected.

Pie + coffee cafe is great for a welcome brake in your journey. Home made meat or apple pies are a treat. Capachinos or tea always good.

Clean toilets, great place to stop to see the planes at the RAAF base.

The staff here were not only knowledge but also great to chat with, getting a great sense of not only what's around the area but also some good safety advice about snakes in the area at this time of year. It goes to show that visitor information centres still have a place and role to play in the Australian tourism market.
