Pepper Lunch Albany

Yummy food. I ordered Kimchi Pepper Beef with Cheese, and partner got his Combo Deluxe with Premium Steak and Salmon. Just do not order the seaweed shake salad, not worth it. Super small for $3.95. But order chips instead! So so worth it!

Its a shame about the staff! We ordered an extra with our dish and when I asked the staff member about it he agreed that we did order an extra- he checked the receipt to confirm. He didn't say much else. We asked if we could still please have the extra as it had already been paid for. He went to speak to a staff member and came back saying they will make it. After a few minutes I was then asked how I wanted to pay (the extra along with the whole meal had been purchased 20 mins prior).nHaving good staff could really change the atmosphere of the place! We won't be returning to the VP branch. The only positive thing I can add is that the fries were good.

A first and definitely the last visit to a place like this. Japanese eating place? What a joke, the salmon, even when cooked, tasted foul, the price is not worth a cent of it and if the whole occasion was not arranged by a close friend i would have walked out the minute i see the rudeness of that young female worker which remained rude throughout the whole time. This is not Japanese one bit. She probably never thought some of us has lived and worked in Japan before and if any Japanese eating place is to welcome anyone with the word Irasshaimase, please accord customers with the basic politeness and courtesy of the Japanese people, serve fresh food and not rotten salmon, don't drop the dishes on the table during serving and remain polite throughout and welcoming. Turns out Irasshaimase is just about the only Japanese word they can utter. Real disgusting experience and the price aren't cheap. Give your money to some place more deserving.

Staff was lovely, ambience was great. Service was quick and big servings. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
