Dapur Van Java

This is my first time visiting Dapur Van Java. I am impressed with a number of things.n1. Food portion: generous and I felt full compared with other Indonesian restaurant (always have stigma that Indonesian restaurant always gives small amount of food for higher price). I would give this 4 out of 5 stars. 5 stars if the food comes with a bit more of salad and more generous portion that makes me full.n2. Service: good service and most of my issue was taken care of on the spot. I would give this 5 out of 5 stars.nnHowever, there is also something that you need to pay attention to.nn1. Cleanliness: when I got spoon and fork, the fork was not very clean (there is a solid rice that has dried, stuck in between the fork). Luckily I spot this out.n2. Atmosphere: generally I like the atmosphere, but there are so many flies flying around in the area. But I would say it's minor, I am hoping this can be addressed too.nnIn general, if I am asked to come over again, I will definitely come again. Thank you :)

There are 9 of us that try different restaurants every 2weeks and over the last 6 months this is one of the best places we have been to ! The staff are amazing (friendly and happy) and the food quality is excellent with generous portions at a great price. It’s a small place and was busy for a Wednesday evening .... so probably book. Awesome little Indonesian food spot!nYou would blink and miss it if not for the queue ud83dude01nFood is tasty and authentic, and felt very much like a Malaysian restaurant in KL ud83eudd2annGood choice of options and generous servings.nShould be a go to option for Malay/Indonesian food lovers

Brilliant service. Food came out quick and was very yummy. Friendly staff. I would go back to try other dishes
