Five years ago, I was not doing to well at all. I couldn't handle my emotions, I was socially uncomfortable, bullied, unrecognised and a borderline drunk. I strongly believed after so many bad experiences at school and university I was doomed. I hated myself. I actually got to point where I had no idea what I was doing with my life and I knew I was a complete failure.nnBut then the best thing happened to me in year 2011. I was failing in my degree and found High Performance Learning on google one night searching for better tutors. I instantly called the company at 9.00pm at night and Chris Brooks answered the phone. I explained my situation and Chris Brooks offered me the initial appointment for my assessment.nnNow a few years on, it is safe to say without High Performance Learning I would not be here today. High Performance Learning has been the catalyst of my success in many areas of my life. This is because High Performance Learning has a holistic approach towards my learning. Through Chris Brooks and Amanda Abbott's holistic approach, they offered me a wonderful opportunity to do the reading program, meditation program and the Mathematics program. These three programs combined have changed my life forever. The benefits have been and are continuing to be astonishing. I have changed so much that people who I haven't seen in 5 years are shocked on how much I have achieved in such little time. I now understand that reading and mathematics are the building blocks to anything I want to do in my life. For example, I've been getting Distinctions and High Distinctions in my university degree and now in my last year of University. I got a job at a hotel and was promoted after 15 months to section manager. I have saved enough money for a house deposit, I have great quality friends and most importantly I love myself and I am my own best friend. I am truly grateful for Chris and Amanda giving me the fundamental skills to achieve what I want. I never ever thought I could choose who I wanted to be. I'm sure everyone has heard of the concept of Law of Attraction. Well, High Performance Learning not only gives you the what and the why but most importantly they give you the how. The how is having strong foundational skills which in Reading and mathematics so that you can do what you want to do and know why your doing it. Thank you so much Chris and Amanda. Chris Brooks at High Performance Learning has not only taught both my sons to read and improve their skills in literacy and numeracy but is a valuable mentor in their lives. Chris is constantly finding new ways to keep their interest in learning!
