Quaint little Italian restaurant that offers friendly and warm service to complement the wonderful menu. Tony and crew love to ensure your experience is great. The menu is simple yet offers a variety of options from Antipasto to warm soups and well balanced mains. If you're looking for huge pizzas and chunky past dishes, this is not the place for you. Italian & sons offer sufficient sized meals that are delightful in flavour leaving you well satisfied and with enough rooms to savour the desert. Can be busy and worth the effort to get in.

Amazing food and very attentive and friendly servicennI've dined at Italian & Sons a few times now and I have been consistently impressed with the quality of the food. The service is also first rate. I recently took family from interstate to enjoy a meal out at Italian & Sons. The restaurant did Canberra proud, turning out some amazing modern Italian and the service was outstanding. Full marks from me!

l actually celebrated my birthday in Italian and sons with my friends today and l really want to share something now. please read this with your patience.nn1. My boyfriend told them it will be a birthday before making the booking online BUT when we arrived there, we were told by staff who work there that we had not informed them. Our table that was reserved was apparently going to ‘disturb’ the other guests as a result of this and we were moved to a much smaller table out the back that was not big enough along with being next to a booking of 14 people which meant we could not hear each other.nn2. Despite it being a birthday party and them being told this, when my boyfriend arrived with a birthday cake he was informed we would not be allowed to eat this on the premises as it was not made there even though he offered to pay a surcharge. Who expects someone to have a birthday party, not bring a cake and not think to tell them if they did bring one they could not have it there.nn3. Their menu was not the broadest in terms of flexibility for parties desiring to eat meat but avoid pork. There were 5 options on the whole menu that contained meat that wasn’t pork and 3 of them were fish.nnWe don’t mind the pricing for a restaurant if the quality is worth it but we were left disappointed by the quality of the meals.nnI was left feeling extremely disappointed and angry after my first and last visit to Italian & Sons. This is not a good place to celebrate your birthday and it will definitely let you down.l feel like l am owed an apology from this restaurantuff01

The restaurant was highly recommended and we had come from Sydney for our wedding anniversary and chosen this restaurant to dine at.nnWe were eventually taken to our table at the back of the restaurant where we had a table positioned in the back corner next to an old sign and near an unused food preparation area.nnThe food was O.K. and the young fellow who served us was good at his job.nnI’m sure that there are many great meals to be had at this restaurant, and perhaps it was a one off, but for such a special occasion we left feeling underwhelmed.
