McGlades Jewellers

This is a fabulous jewellery store. We have been buying from them for many years. Staff are always friendly and genuinely knowledgeable about their products. We've also had several jewellery items repaired by their in-house jewellers and they always do a superb job. Highly recommend you pay them a visit next time you're looking for a special gift or unique piece of jewellery.

Unfortunately would not reccomend this place to anyone. I went here to have my engagement ring resized but was instead met with rejection and the jeweller even insulted my engagement ring telling me that it was poorly made, that I should send it back to get a refund and if I bought from mcglades in the first place they would of made it much better. The jeweller also felt it was necessary to put on a show and loudly insult my ring in front of a shop full of people. I reccomend avoiding this place unless you feel like being insulted and belittled. Reading through the reviews i noticed some one else had made a similiar complaint, this is most likely a common occurence here.

I had a custom engagement ring made at McGlades. Angie and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. The ring was ready when promised, and looks absolutely stunning. Couldn't be more happy with how it looks and would definitely go to McGlades again.

Very disappointed.nI collected some beautiful moonstones over time (years), and had some custom earrings made. The quoted price was increased on me, and then one of the stones came back ‘cracked’ through the middle. I’ve checked with where I got the stone and there were no flaws in the stone, so this was either not the stone I supplied, or something happened, but they claimed the massive flaw was there when I supplied it. I know it wasn’t.

Very friendly staff and good service. Jewellery is beautiful.
