Commercial Hotel Meekatharra

I have been pleasantly surprised by my overnight stay in Meekatharra at T He Commercial Hotel. The town is much like any other little country town, everybody is beyond friendly and the owner at the Hotel went over and above to accommodate my family of 4. The meals were superb, and the rooms were clean, big and a good price. We stayed in the hotel part with the shared amenities and i was surprised to see it even had a bath so I could wash both my kids at once. Unheard of! And so great to make it an easy stay! We had the surf and turf and the kids menu was actually kid friendly for my very fussy eater. The showers were hot and didn't spray in my face so that's a win. And our room even backed onto a big shared undercover balcony complete with couches over looking the town. Perfect for parents to have a drink once the kids go down and your door is right there and dead locked with a key. 👌👌 Not sure why Meeka gets such a bad wrap. Super happy with our stay here. And the atmosphere in the pub on Friday night was so lovely, down to Earth, and family friendly. Just TOP NOTCH Meekatharra! 😁

People were very sweet and caring which was great. The historical building is very special too. Bed was noisy and not very compfy but made the job. Our toddlers loved the experience!
