Serpentine National Park

Small falls but close to carpark with BBQ facilities

A beautiful area to relax and enjoy nature, there are lovely areas to have a picnic or barbecue with friends and family. A coffee shop is also located near the falls where you can sit, enjoy a drink and watch the birds fly by. I will visit again as there are also some walking trails to explore.

Good day out if you want to hike or just visit the falls. Be mindful of young children though because the hiking trail is quite rugged and steep. Our family really enjoyed it and plan to go back. Also, if you don't have a National Parks pass, entry's gonna cost you around $11 (cash. No eftpos).

Wonderful, easy to access falls area for swimming, a picnic lunch and a nice hike. My advice is to actually hike Kitty's Gorge walk from Jarrahdale Cemetery Carpark, walk to the falls, have a nice lunch and walk back. Kitty's is a 4-6hr moderate hike that follows the river down to the falls through some lush bush.

Plenty of trails to explore , place for you to swim, and great spots for picnics , perfect for a family, couple, or few friends wanting a day out. Only down side is its around $15 per car, and there's opening/closing times. Lesmerdie doesn't have any of that 😃
