Tullis Bridge

This trail is in need of some TLC. We arrived early in the morning after passing through an active mine site. The first trail markers were easily missed and we commenced down a vehicle-width track before returning to find arrows to the left and right of the trail sign. The proper path was frequently spotted with both small and large arachnids. A long stick was needed to disrupt their webs to continue walking. After rounding the eastern corner of the trail we came across a river crossing which was not on the map. We eventually reconnected with the intended path which was weed strewn but reasonably easy to follow back to the carpark. Good for adventurous sorts and probably fewer spiders during peak tourist seasons.

The walk is so overrun with spiders that we had to carry sticks and swat away the webs every 5 meters.

Great scenery and a pleasant drive

Great little walk along the river. Make sure you go via Farm e rd Ave, Robbins, Mort roads. If you follow Google's best route youllend up on the wrong side of the river with no bridge to cross

It's a beautiful old site within the district & shows the heritage of things too. Well worth a visit
