A beautiful building with so many beautiful and interesting things to see. So worth a visit.

I am so glad that I finally had the opportunity to visit these beautiful old home. Wandering around the the home you could imagine the people that lived here. The grand dinners and parties. The home needs some attention as there was a leak from the ceiling in one of the rooms but it was still an amazing place. Such history should be preserved. It was sad that there were no photographs or books documenting the story of Martindale Hall and its inhabitants that you could buy at the home. However I did get a copy of Picnic at Hanging Rock that is sold there. I will go back again.

We visited many years ago. Enjoyed a wonderful weekend.

A wonderful looking into a bygone era... A wonderful day trip from Adelaide. Take a jumper or jacket as the rooms inside can be cold... after all, it is a very old historic building
