Automatic Transmission Specialists

We were on holidays in Batemans Bay from Sydney early in 2016 and my automatic transmission failed me. I took it to Michael at B & S Automatics there. Michael did a very professional reconditioning job of my gearbox, showed me the components he had replaced, and talked me through what he had done.nAbout eight months later I had a problem with the kick-down cable of the transmission box. I called Michael and he promptly organised for me to take my van to Craigs automatics, which is affiliated with the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers, as is Michael's business.nWithin three days of informing Michael of my problem the van was back with me and working perfectly, and at no cost to me because it was done under warranty!nI would like to say thank you to Michael for his prompt and professional solution to my problem and also to Craig's Automotive for their prompt repair work.

Always very helpful, they have fixed issues with my car that other mechanics wouldn't/couldn't. Very informative and always go into detail on what needs to be fix and why.

Avoid at all costs – a warning for all motoristsnnVery poor communication from the owner, did not call when the car was ready to pick up, but that’s just the beginning.nnThe owner had extremely poor resolution skills after the car was damaged in his care. Impossible to get a straight answer regarding workshop insurance, timeframes, what damage occurred and how much it would cost.nnThe owner was never able to tell me what insurance company he was aligned to or where I could contact them to verify details.nnI was without my car from the beginning of December through to the middle of January, only eventually getting it back after I insisted on taking care of the damage myself in Sydney.nnIt was several weeks more until the owner was able to provide payment for the repairs, as he insisted on avoiding using my insurance company (a mistake on my part, I should have taken it straight to my insurance company).nnAnd even then, he did not pay the full amount due, and I am now out of pocket for the damages that occurred during his possession of the car.nnDo not trust this business with your car, period.
