We really enjoyed the Fly and Flipper day tour! The views from the plane are just stunning; it's really the best way to see the islands as they are spread out over a large area. The colors from the different depths of water would be hard to appreciate from a boat. Our pilot, Jed, was great! He was professional and detail-orientated (things you like to have in a pilot) and also a warm and friendly guy who made the day enjoyable and informative. The time on East Wallabi Island was great; we got to see a lot of birds, a Tamar wallaby and interesting shells on the beach. We had ordered the lunch salads from the company, and found them quite tasty. The snorkel was great- very nice corals and fish just off of the shore, and a beautiful conch partway out of it's shell cruising around the coral. And, on the flight back, lots of whales breaching in the channel (they are surprisingly easy to see from 3,500 feet in the air). It all added up to a superb day's outing, one we would do again! The only slight hitch we had was that it wasn't entirely clear from the emails exactly where to arrive for the tour; however Shine Aviation have a building clearly marked as you drive into the Geraldton Airport and that is the right place to go.

Had a fantastic day out on the full day fly and flipper tour very well organised great staff in the office very friendly and easy going. George was our pilot great guy! good knowlodge of the islands and the geraldton area very easy to talk to. Perfect day out and the views are crazy from the air! Snorkelling on the reef was very good seen crayfish,octopus and heaps of fish

What an experience! Jed was a great pilot and guide, very patient with a couple of my kids who were very nervous. We did the full day fly and flipper and even in July we could snorkel. Excellent day away from distractions and technology.
