Platinum Hair Salon

I have been going to Platinum Hair Salon for fourteen years, since it first started operating in Carlingford. I visit on average once a month, and regularly have style cutting, colouring and keratin treatments there. The staff keep my hair in such good condition that I have even had strangers stop me and ask where I get my hair done. On the one occasion across fourteen years when I had any issue - a minor one when my hair colour reacted strangely to a treatment - two of the staff worked 30 minutes past closing time to remedy it. I was, therefore, astonished when a friend told me that there were negative reviews on this site, and more so when I read them. The comments are totally against my extensive experience with the Platinum staff and the professional service that they provide. I have only ever heard the staff speak with clients and each other with the greatest respect and friendliness.I have watched the stylists listen and work closely with clients to ensure they are delivering what the clients want. Today I watched the owner of the salon graciously and with no fuss cut and style the hair for an elderly lady who had forgotten to make her usual appointment, this despite the fact that it meant working through lunchtime. If you look at some of the reviews, you can see a number of questionable accounts, a person who purports to be a client but has not attended the salon, and in some what seems to be a directed attempt to do harm to the business. That so many people have been Platinum clients for a very long time, even travelling quite a distance to the salon after moving out of the area, shows that Platinum is a business that cares about and looks after its customers.

I have been going to Platinum for well over 10 years. Randa, is the stylist I have been seeing throughout this time. Her professionalism, attention to detail and understanding for colour are second to none. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I constantly get compliments on how well my hair is cut and the colour. I particularly like the Trichovedic Keratin treatment used at this salon. It leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny. The prices reflect the quality of the products used and the experience of the staff. I would definitely recommend this salonud83eudd0d

Got a great haircut the first time at Platinum but the second time was a nightmare with uneven lengths on both sides - just very dissapointing!
