Came out to give us a quote. Great guy. We didnt like the prices so we passed. After some other quotes thought we'd go back to them since we needed an itemised quote for strata (this wasnt done the first time) Wanted a deposit for the initial price because he had quoted before. Not the worst Idea, but being I had called for another one of his jobs, and 3 months later no reply, Called again for the larger job, told me he'd call back to set a time. Lo and behold didnt. So, not paying 10% deposit for a quote, from a company where I cant be certain if they are going to call or turn up.
