Amber Tiles Penrith

I'm very pleased I read these reviews before I even bothered to go there, I will shop elsewhere. I did purchase pavers from this store about 15 years ago with no trouble, but I will go elsewhere this time.

The mature gentleman that runs this Amber Tiles outlet was rather RUDE and ARROGANT during my visit. He seemed annoyed at having to attend to my queries, and when ask about differentiation in a product range, he brazenly brushed if aside and did not even tell me the price. He is a terrible ambassador for this long standing company. Apparently the Amber Tiles stores are franchised. No mystery shoppers, eh? Such was my anger and irritation with this person, I was only too happy to drive all the way over to Beaumont Hills where I received superlative, friendly service and recently returned a second time to purchase a second lot of pavers.nnAfter reading other reviews, it is criminal that Amber head office allows this behaviour to continue as it is evident that this condescending approach has been ongoing for some years. Long live the free market.

I have never experienced such RUDE behaviour! Spoke to a Chris from the Kingswood franchise and advised I was after a price for a rather large quantity retaining wall blocks. Was told by Chris that he would not give me a price unless I would give him a firm commitment. He also made a rather weird comment that I had to be more compassionate???? Then he hang up. If the customer service is like this before you buy then I hate to think if something goes wrong with your order. AMBER TILES this franchise is not a good representation of your company!!! One star is really too much!!

I recently purchased silver travertine pavers through Chris at Amber Pavers in Kingswood / Penrith and this has absolutely been the worst customer experience I have ever had. Firstly I was told the pavers would take 6-10 days to come in 4 weeks later I had to chase it up only to be greeted with nothing but rudeness from Chris the franchisee. I finally got my delivery approx 6 weeks after ordering. When the delivery arrived the pavers did not at all match the colour or quality that was on display and we had broken pieces, large chipped off corners and some very bad quality pavers. Approx 25-30 pavers of the 140 pieces were not at all to a proper standard and the Chris has been nothing but rude, arrogant and inappropriate in his dealings with me as a customer. I would like to be contacted by a senior member of the management team at Amber head office before I take this to fair trade to deal with as I will not accept the treatment, service, and quality of the goods I have received. Chris should be ashamed of the way he deals with his customers.. simply appalling!nI have dealt with Danielle and Shannon from the store who have both been an absolute pleasure to deal with. I feel for the team working in this amber store having to deal with Chris. I Look forward to hearing from head office ASAP and thanks Shannon for being so lovely and trying your absolute best to assist - it was very much appreciated.
