Catalina Restaurant

Hands down Pete and my favourite restaurant in Sydney. We always celebrate birthdays and special occasions here and love a casual Sunday lunch from time to time. Judy, James and Kate run a tight ship, with a lovely team of floor staff. Rain, hail or shine this place deserves it's iconic reputation. Our lunch yesterday was one of the best we have had, even after 20 years of dining here. Thanks to everyone on the team for spoiling us! We are so impressed that you continue to uphold excellence in service during such a tough year for all. Can't wait to come back!

We were a family of 4 adults dinning mid week dinner. The service was impeccable throughout the evening unobtrusive but always available to meet our needs. Every plate was beautifully presented and delicious. I had the tooth fish with mushroom dumplings it was perfectly cooked. We were discreetly asked if our dinner was in celebration of anything and we explained our 2 adult children had both just completed university degrees. when their desserts were presents the plates had 'congratulations' written on them with chocolate fondant!

Great attention to detail. All our expectations were delivered. Amazing food, warm and welcoming service, great wine list and a great setting. A mix of seafood and meat dinner which was full of flavor and great presentation. Finished with a wonderful sticky date pudding and a cheese platter that was well thought. Loved it, been there before and we will definitely be back.

This was my second attendance at Catalina, and it never fails to amaze me. The entire experience, food and ambience at Catalina was fantastic. I had special dietary requirements, which I advised of when the reservation was made. From that point, I had correspondence with a member of Catalina who kindly assisted me and ensured my dishes met my dietary requirements without a change in taste. Upon my attendance, several waiters were already aware of my dietary requirements, which I found added to the already great quality of service at Catalina. I ordered the pan-fried prawns, the snapper fillet and the apple fruit flan. The dishes were nothing short of perfection. I thank the staff and management for the experience they have provided on the day. Certainly, I look forward to my next visit.

We celebrated a beloved colleague's retirement lunch at Catalina and it was spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble, the changing numbers, the allergies all dealt with superbly. And, the food! Each dish was perfect. The whole experience made such wonderful memories for all of us. Can't thank you enough.
