I’ve waited to write a review to get a second opinion. Unfortunately I had the same experience as the person who previously posted.nnI sent photos to their Facebook page, showing my hair and explaining what I would like. They booked me in no worries.nWhen I get there, I waited half an hour to be seen to. In the meantime I watched them create beautiful hair colours and absolutely believe the stylists have great skill. However every single client in there was told to buy their (very expensive) products multiple times.nnWhen I was seen to, after much discussion behind my back with another stylist, Trish told me my hair was too damaged because I used coles bought shampoo and conditioner. She said I needed their products and their treatments before she could consider dyeing my hair. She said it had too much silicone in it from my cheap hair products.nnI left, deciding to think about whether this was legitimate advice. I checked my hair products for silicone and they are silicone and paraben free. I have naturally oily hair as I explained but hadn’t dyed it in 6+ months and so it didn’t seem dry to me. So I left quite embarrassed at this and upset that my expectations from originally making the appointment were so different to reality.nnI went to a different hair salon who advised my hair is not damaged and was able to do what I asked. It honestly seems like this place focuses on upwelling their products unnecessarily and shames those not interested.nIt is unfortunate to leave such a negative review but this was my experience.

I have been coming to this amazing place for over a year now and it is worth every cent. The owner Abbey & Senior Hair stylist Ebony are the sweetest girls. They are very welcoming and go above and beyond for you. Abbey always nails the colour I request every time I go and it comes out even better than I can ever imagine. I love this place. 100% recommend this place. xx
