Wisteria Place Cafe

Came in for lunch on a Monday, had a very pleasant experience. Decor is warm and welcoming and the airflow inside doesn't make it feel stuffy or humid. Staff were friendly and prompt, the coffee and food came out quickly - quicker than anticipated. Got the chicken wrap with a side of salad and was very satisfied with it. Having worked in the hospitality industry I could tell the food was handled with care and respect for the customer Will definitely return again to explore the rest of the menu.

Friendly staff nice food and good coffee. Leura is beautiful but can get over crowded with tourists etc. When all the restaurants and cafes had big wait times and lines we found this cafe hidden away from the main street (across from Woolworths parking) and got served straight away. Nice cafe only downfall was the small menu (not a great deal to choose from).

Disappointed to find the quality of food and service has dropped. This use to be my favorite spot on the way up the mountain however. They've changed the recipes of some dishes around which has made them lacking of flavor. One staff member in particular seems quite grumpy as well. I do really hope this place can get back to what it use it be.

Warning!!! Be prepared to put up with this extremely rude owner/dude behind the bar if you decide to dine in here. We went in there to have breakfast attracted by the lovely looking garden. We asked for a table and very rudely pointed to a menu card and drinking water. I mean c'mon, how much does it cost you to greet your customers nicely. We almost walked away but let it slide thinking he had a bad day. But then saw some Google reviews and realized lot of others felt the same way as us. Food was okay and rest of the staff were very nice. But this guy ruined everything. I wouldn't go back.

Do yourself a favour and don’t go to this awful place. I would give it zero stars if I could. I cannot believe how rude the owner is! We were greeted with a grunt and a look of disdain as if we were bothering him. He just pointed rudely where the menus were and made no attempt at making us feel welcome. We left never to go back. Zero for customer service!
