Paragon

The Paragon has moved from it's Original Building to a new one. The Paragon is now next door to the Avalon (across the road and up over the hill, from where it Originally was), and two doors towards the Railway Line (to the North) of the Savoy Restaurant. Food was great, hot chocolate drink that I had was great too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely lady that we spoke to was the Staff. This lady explained to us that she moved The Paragon into a smaller building and didn't renew the old building. I have to admit, after having been to both buildings, this new smaller one has more atmospheric feeling to it. Thanks for your hospitality and kindness. I'll be back there sometime in the future. 😀

I've travelled from England to visit Australia and landed on this beautiful cafe. Best coffee I have had. My mum also tasted the beautiful home made chocolates they make here. The lady made us feel so welcome. Lots of vintage gifts here also. Love to come back one day

Just opened a block of the milk Waratah chocolate I bought on holiday a couple of weeks ago. I am assuming it isn't meant to be gritty and lumpy, the top where the paragon name looks kind of melted. Really unimpressed for expensive chocolate. Dreading opening the white bar. It was kept in cool dry conditions and not in the fridge. So disappointed.

Visited years ago.I’m talking 55years or so.First place to visit when arriving,highly recommended💖.In a child’s eyes it was superb,much better than a candy shop.I still get the same thrill.Brought back fond memories💝

Delicious mocha and hot chocolate!! Perfect for winter time. Staff was real friendly :)
