The Hatter's Cafe

Lovely little cafe in the heart of Katoomba. My group of friends had lunch there today and we were very pleased with the service and the food! We ordered steak sandwiches, chicken skewers, sirloin steak and pumpkin & macadamia soup. Washed down with jumbo coffees, a freshly squeezed OJ and one Mars Bar milkshake. Food tasted great,well cooked, and very fresh; though our drinks and coffee orders took a bit long to come out (considering how many we ordered, not a big deal). The young lady that served us was very funny and patient with all of the dietary requirements of our little group. Definitely will head back there when time permits.

Really good! They do special orders, so you don't have to have chips with your meal. Food and drinks were really good, and the service was quick and friendly. We'll be back!

Incredibly overpriced for bland food and stomach troubles. For three meals and three drinks came to 72 dollars. The salmon pesto pasta was oily and barely had any pesto in it. The salmon tasted almost off and had bone fragments and tasted like it came from the can. The fish and chips came with no salt and were pretty tasteless. The meal tasted like it was reheated before served. The ham and cheese sandwich tasted bitter. After the meal our stomachs gave us cramps.

Food was lovely, plentifully. Surroundings were peaceful, unrushed pleasant atmosphere and nicely priced.

Great food friendly staff , and they have a jar where you can leave a coffee docket for someone who can't afford one .
