We had the pleasure of meeting a lovely lady by the name of Amanda. She was by far the best waitress I’ve ever met. With her abundance of knowledge and her beautiful bubbly nature, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended! Plus the food was amazing! Thanks Amanda and team x

We had the steak sandwich and big breakfast. Both were excellent. They were very flexible on what was included with the big breakfast which you don’t always find in Australia. Chai latte and Macadamia flat white were great as well. Service was perfect. Overall an awesome experience.

This place is amazing. The staff are more attentive than some high end restaurants (check my boiler room review). In fact the staff are amazing. Friendly warm and professional. The chef came out and delivered the food himself which was again very warm. The food itself was very nice and I highly recommend it for breakfast and lunch. Well why 4 stars and not 5? This is a difficult one. The Sparrow is suffering from its own success. I dropped a star for the space of the Cafe which is slightly tight because it's so popular. Nothing's perfect but the Sparrow is damn close.

Eat in, or at a sidewalk table. Friendly and efficient service. Most of the dishes on offer are made in-house. I had their sausage roll (freshly baked every morning) and my wife enjoyed her Florentine which had hints of fresh ginger. My Café Mocha was great, as was my wife's Chai Latte. During Wuhan Flu restrictions, their table allocation fills quickly.

Took a chicken/brie sanga for the road - delicious! came the next day and had the house made baked beans - also delicious! GREAT coffee as well. ALSO bought some of there homemade pickles - smashed the whole jar in one night with the missus with some cheese - FANTASTIC PICKLES. do you post pickles in the pickle post? if so let me know i need some more. Cheers!
