Peakhurst Mitre 10

Unlike some of the bigger chain hardware stores (you know who) this store differentiates itself in one very obvious and spectacular way. With the large chain store you can walk their very large stores looking for someone to assist you. At the Peakhurst Mitre 10 you are greeted immediately by an assistant asking you how they can help you. A very pleasant surprise is that everyone in the store seems to know everything about the store. Can I say that is becoming an uncommon trait, where the norm with a lot of stores, you have to talk to 2 or 3 people to get the info you need. So their point of difference is definitely service. It would be nice if more businesses focused on service like this one does. Is it a super jumbo mega store? No. Is the experience far superior. Yes. Unless you are looking for 12 different brands and the service is not important, give the warm and welcoming folks at Mitre 10 Peakhurst a try.

Great hardware store has everything you need without having to walk around for half an hour. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that you don't have to hunt down if you need anythingq

limited selection, don't ever seem to have what you need. Store manager has a bad attitude and is arrogant. waste of time going there
