The Alley Barber Shop

Just went in to get a buzz cut and didn't realize until I arrived that a buzz cut was something different to what I wanted. The man doing my hair was nice enough to rebook my appointment for a haircut even though the shop was pretty full on. Great haircut and service. I believe the mans name was Jake but I've forgotten. Thanks again!

I’m sure it’s probably a good barbershop. Its hours on the Internet (and posted in its front window) say it’s open until 6pm Saturdays ... having driven up here and arrived shortly after 4pm I can say with certainty that those hours aren’t accurate: completely closed. Would call and check with them before you go.

Highly recommend! Experienced barber and really friendly guy. Small business owner doing it on his own with a young family. Lived in Newport my whole life and think it’s really important for the community to have barbershops like this. Support your local independent barbers!
