Hastie Waste Mulch - Firewood mixed with rubbish. I have found no reviews anywhere else so hopefully the google bots will find this one. I don't have a problem with the people I was involved with, in fact the lady who took my phone call and the delivery driver were very polite and accomodating. I ordered 5 cubic metres of raw mulch at $30/m3 which was delivered on time as arranged. However, it quickly became clear that this stuff was not wood mulch as expected. It was pretty much fire wood, the largest piece 1.5 metres long by 65mm, and the amount of rubbish contained (general refuse) half filled a 250lt council bin after painstakingly picking out. To add insult to injury, they had delivered around 7 cubic metres instead of the five I ordered. In the end I realised I couldn't use this stuff on the garden and paid for a bobcat and truck, complete with disposal fees, to get rid of this stuff. I wouldn't take this stuff for free. They literally get you to pay for their privilege to dump excess waste in your backyard. In the end, it would have been cheaper to pay for premium black mulch, and without the anguish.
