Quest, Liverpool, NSW. 39 Scott St, Liverpool. Duration of my stay, 03rd-05th December 2020. Level 4, room 409A. The quality of the grounds, clean upon arrival. The lights which were functioning upon arrival begun to flicker on the floor, the same evening. The room as well as the floor had been unkept for 2 days (now mid-day of day 3, 05th December 2020), garbage disposal bags on the floor the evening I arrived. No concierge. The room remained unclean for the duration of my stay. Upon entrance to the room, the curtain had a tear, the side tables and office desk was unclean. There had been a plastic jug of water (utilised) in the refridgerator. The daily rate agreed upon was $139.00, the invoice reflects $140.81 on the first day, $150.94 on the second day. The Quest hotel eftpos facility (front desk) requires pin entry for the bond, they do not utilise the scan function as that of the Holiday Inn. After having addressed this with the manager, he had his consultant respond. (17 images attached)

Stayed a night, had a birthday party in the area. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was really nice, modern, everything you need. Pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend.

Reception is advertised as being open until 11 pm. On three occasions I have asked for a window to be opened or a television that has no reception to be fixed and the default response is… Reception staff have left for the evening. Upon challenging this, someone always comes. Customer service is not first. On the previous 2 visits the rubbish bins below the balconies in the rear lane are left unlocked all night to the incessant trawling of bin crawlers looking for cans and bottles. (Noisy if you want a balcony/ window for fresh air) This is followed by the early morning drug trade in the same laneway.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was a bit of a letdown. The sofa lounge was very uncomfortable to sit on and I pulled it out to lay down on and we couldn't because the mattress was that worn the springs dug into us. It was impossible to lay on and there were dirty bloody tissues under the sofa. The walls are thin and we could hear people talking all night. The king bed was 2 singles put together and would roll apart if you went in the middle of the bed. All in all it was good to get away just not worth the money we paid for the apartment.
