While they don't have the range somewhere much bigger has, the customer service and advice is 2nd to none. All the guys here always have time to assist, provide advice and advise me how to do small home projects AND they carry your heavy purchases to the car! Their prices are also competitive to bigger places and I would prefer to support small local business where I can

Friendly and helpful staff.nI was looking for some items which none of the big store in Canberra had. Randomly went to this store and guess what, I found exactly what I was looking.

A place full of people ready to help, but you will pay for it.nnThe Home Hardware is a great place and convenient to get to for those in Karabar who need some odds and ends to finish a project - or start one.nnParking at Karabar is an issue, but you can park in the covered car park and access Home directly. One tip is go around the speed bumps they have as they're not 'to spec' and feel quite rough even at very low speed. There are usually plenty of parks down here for a quick 'in and out' to get something.nnThere's a surprisingly large range of stuff here given the smaller size of the store. There's all the tools, drill bits, fasteners, paint, timber and essentially anything you'd expect from a hardware store.nnI've always been greeted with a friendly smile and an offer for assistance within a minute of walking through the doors. But as it's in an out of the way place you do seem to pay a bit more for the service - but it's worth it as the staff know their stuff or know exactly who will and can get the info fast.nnDefinitely a place to check out.
