Maries Pizza Tugun

Haven’t had Marie’s Pizza for a long time and have to say it will be a long time before I have it again. Way too much sauce. Asked for no tomato sauce and it was like they doubled it. Didn’t taste cooked properly and the meat lovers side was ham and couldn’t taste anything else. Not a fan.

Do not even bother with this place. We have been customers for a long time, they consistently get the order wrong despite repeatedly requesting specifically the minor changes to be made. Have put up with wrong orders numerous times, finally decide to call and complain and got accused by the manager of abusing the junior staff, which was absolutely false. If junior staff cannot handle civil complaints, train them to direct the call to the manager. Absolutely not good enough, the manager threw this poor kid under the bus, then accused us of being abusive. Please avoid at all costs the Tugun restaurant, god forbid you don't get what you ordered (despite being charged for it), then the condescending, victim blaming manager will ensure your you feel like a real piece of garbage.

Always great quality of pizzas. Busy store so it's a good idea to book ahead. Longest I've waited was an hour. Last night meal was only 15 minutes.

Really loved this pizza place. The pizza was tasty and fast, the other side dishes (wings, mac and cheese) were good, but not as good as the pizza. There was a line with a couple people standing inside and outside for a few nights before we ordered and we were happy to find tasty pizza late at night. They have a good online ordering system to see what pizza and sides are available, though we chose to order in-store and wait. Short walk tot he beach if you're looking to have a pizza lunch/dinner as long as the seagulls don't see you coming.
