Kahani Indian Restaurant Tugun

Its a shame. They were very good years ago. We have Being going for 8+ years but as soon as they put there prices up to $24 a curry the flavour has gone south for some reason.... also they lost their good manager couple years back.nMost curries on the Gold coast are no more than 16 to 18 dollars....nLook they do a pretty good curry ( even tho they use a bit of sugar to make it nicer) but not for that price. Look they serve on and in a pretty bad décor and enviorment...nYou would expect that on Sydney harbour but not in Tugun or their Kingscliffs restaurant. I really want to say good words but the locals are starting to go else where. However this whole strip thinks they are in Broadbeach with their prices....nI'm actually a chef and this is my opinion.nIf you want a good curry sauce and don't mind the price, than try it. Otherwise look around

Beautiful Indian food ~ authentic flavours and well presented.

I eat the vegetarian food and it is very good and you get a great portion for what you pay. Two people can fill up on $35. One big main dish to share, an order of naan (comes with 2 big pieces), an order of samosas (also comes with 2), and rice. It's the best Indian food I've found in the area.

Will never order again, don't mind paying good money for good food but this was NOT good!! Floury chicken, dry beef, terrible sauces. not a good experience and NOT a good reccomendation for Indian food. They need a better chef that cares more than this. Worst Indian I've ha on the coast.

Ordered on Uber, overpriced and tasteless. Two dishes with naan for $72 watered down and no spice disgusting
