KATHERINE TAXIS

Looking forward to going to Katherine Country Club after work on a Friday for dinner and drinks. Asked about the shuttle bus and was told 'the shuttle only operates on a Saturday because of Covid'. I'll pass the good news on to the hospital that Covid respects Saturdays as a day off! Nevermind we thought, catch a cab from Knott's Crossing down, but after being hung up on when we asked for a lead time, then 45 minutes later recalling and watching our 'despatched' cab stationary after an hour we understood why Katherine's a 'dying town'. F***ING hopeless! Don't bother with Katherine Taxis, try a competitor, walk or, given the country club's policy, consider other options.

It would have to be the worst taxi service in Australia.....i don't know how many times iv rung this service and had no one turn up.

Waited 2 hours for a taxi to come to our caravan park...dispatch unable to make a taxi come. Had to ring main office and then one arrived in five minutes. Should have done that at the beginning. Taxi driver apologetic and friendly when he did arrive.
